What time can I check in at The Malthouse? |

Guest arrival time is from 4pm to 9pm.
We kindly ask that arrivals are no later than 9pm to ensure
other guests will not be disturbed.

Yes – we have a free private car park for

All buildings (including guest bedrooms) are
strictly no smoking. However, smoking is permitted in outdoor
areas where ashtrays are provided.

Yes - Rothwell & Towler are one of the companies
able to arrange low cost protection for you that will cover you
in the event of a genuine need to cancel.

We include a delicious Malthouse breakfast of
your choice to see you through the day. Choose from: Full
English, Vegetarian, Vegan, Dairy Free or Gluten Free.

Will I have to assist with the washing up after
breakfast? |

Extra brownie points will be awarded to all
children who help us with the chores instead of going to Alton
Towers!

Are there facilities to prepare or cook my own
food? |

We are unable to offer you barbecue or other food preparation,
food storage and cooking facilities. However we are happy to
refrigerate medication and infant weaning foods.
You will not go hungry in the evenings, there are pubs and
restaurants within walking distance where food is available.

Are babies and very young children welcome at The
Malthouse? |

We make every effort to assist families with
infants to enjoy as trouble free stay as possible. We have
travel cots, bedside rails, night lights, high chairs and bottle
sterilizing equipment. We are happy to store baby milk and
weaning foods in our fridge.

Do you have any facilities for less mobile guests
or those with disabilities? |

We have a ground floor bedroom suitable
for wheelchair users. It has a wet room style shower room
equipped with handrails and bars. We are considerate to those
with special needs and will assist wherever possible. A copy of
our Access Statement is available upon request

Will my bedroom be en-suite? |

All our bedrooms are en-suite with toilet, hand
basin and shower.

Will I need to bring my own towels and
toiletries? |

We provide hand soap and all towels for in room use. You should
bring your own towels for visits to waterparks and swimming
baths.
Please bring your own toiletries. However, we are only too happy
to help out if you have forgotten essentials.

What other facilities are in my bedroom? |

All rooms are centrally heated and have
thermostatically controlled radiators. There is tea/coffee,
digital TV, WiFi internet access,
hairdryer and
wall mounted fan in each room. An Iron and ironing board is
available upon request.

Can I gain access to my bedroom at all times? |

You will be given a room key on arrival and are
free to come and go as you please during your stay. We have no
curfew – only asking that early birds and night owls are
respectfully quiet for other guests and our neighbours.

Can I drink the tap water in my bedroom? |

Yes – All cold water is a mains supply and is suitable for
drinking.
