From Alton Towers: We are close to
Alton Towers (one mile) in the village of Alton, Staffordshire. When you exit the theme
park turn left (south) onto the main road. Travel down hill for
approximately half a mile. Turn first right into Station Road.
Follow the road round to the left into Horse Road. Drive to the
top of Horse Road and turn sharp left into Malthouse Road. The
Malthouse Bed and Breakfast is the first building on the left.
Our car park is at the rear of the house.
Malt Tip - If you travel further than one mile
and don't find us you have gone the wrong way! TAKE CARE! All
the roads are narrow country roads.
Alton The Malthouse is located in the
beautiful village of Alton in Staffordshire. Many visitors
travel to Alton by car, then use their vehicle to get around
while they are here. However, you can travel to Alton by bus or
taxi. If you plan to visit Alton Towers during your stay with
us and you don't have a car, a local bus service operates from
the village. Some
visitors choose to walk the one mile to Alton Towers.

Stoke-on-Trent (15 miles), Derby (23 miles) and Stafford (23 miles).
There is an unmanned railway station at Uttoxeter (9 miles).
